Why we choose our chosen Actors who are:

Elle Burton - This is who have decided to play the role of the little girl this is because of how we wanted to portray a little innocent girl, and choosing this actor to play her showed that she was suitable for the role as she is a shy and venerable girl who this is what we need for our little girl character to include within her. As well she is a Year 7 pupil and she would be suitable for the age range of the girl we wanted to cast for her so she was the perfect match as she is a small character and can be scared and would play the role with brilliant acting.

Finally as we don't have many actors within our opening only the two for the male we decided to cast the Year 12 pupil Tyler Long. This was because he has adult characteristics to him and is easily good a portraying a unhappy (Even thought we don't she his face) However he will have the postures and gestures of an angry mysterious man and would play the role seriously for how the character needs to be portrayed as the unknown, mysterious character and within playing this role it need adult features to be part of the little girl and he was the suitable choice for this decision that we have decided to take.

Our Horror Opening “HUNTED” Pitch

Below is showing the PowerPoint that we created as a group we used to deliver our Horror Opening ideas to the class, expressing how we wanted our film to be and what is consisted of. Gaining possible feedback's from our peers to see if them as our target audience suggested anything to be improved to make this a good opening film and being suitable for their age range...

Responses from our audience: 

From looking at the responses that we gained from presenting our pitch to the class we can see that most of the comments that we were given back was that our opening is going to be a solid opening, with great ideas and a good choice of using the inspiration that we gained our ideas from leading to create our ideas for the opening. When gaining the feedback from our Pitch to the class we gained positive feedback about where we wanted to base our opening in "Tydd St Giles" at the Church/Graveyard. Also we gained most comments about how we linked in the props, costumes for our characters and how these ideas linked in with the Slogan "The past Never Lets Go" which they approved how we decided to approach this.

When we decided to show the target audience to the group they liked and agreed with who are audience age range should be "15 - 18" because of how we explained this would be a suitable age for them to understand the concept of the opening and the plot that it includes, so they liked also how we approached this.

However when looking at the responses that we gained after presenting our Pitch of our opening ideas we did gain some possible improvements that we can make during our ideas. Which these were to make the male character more sinister towards the audience. However, when discussing this within the group we have decided to make the male character more sinister as he is going to be a shadow like person to make him seem more scary and unknown towards the audience but at the same time being able not to see the character clothes making him look more silhouette and more dangerous to the audience creating the paranormal aspect of him being a shadow, but still thinking about the unknown Idea.

Overall: The feedback that we gained from our Pitch of ideas was outstanding this was because people liked our ideas and they believed that it is a solid opening that we be more watched to be viewed and only had one possible improvement about the male character which as a group we have decided to make the changes to this of making him more of a shadow. So therefore overall outstanding feedback's from our Pitch ideas so we know we have created a successful opening however with only little improvement.

Overall Assessment on Our Group Pitch:

The overall assessment for our Pitch I believe was outstanding and was successful for how planned it to be for outcome...

This was because looking at the ideas that we wanted to get across towards the audience we can see that this went well and be delivered our ideas with success. This was because looking at the feedback that we gained and how we wanted to try and include everything we needed to say to make out Pitch and ideas stand out towards the audience and make it successful enough for our ideas to be agreed with.

The Main idea of creating and delivering this Pitch to the audience was because we needed to know that our plans for our opening was good enough to create so having the feedback ensured that we was heading towards the right stepping stones into creating our horror opening "Hunted" However, when having this feedback we was able to be able to see the improvements that they wanted us to have we only needed to make our male character more sinister and as a group we shall be doing that by making him more of a shadow character, creating that tension for the audience, so by only seeing one improvements by the peers it shows that our ideas for our horror opening is going to be a solid piece of work and will become successful. So therefore, from looking at the Pitch we can see that our horror opening will work and by gaining the audience feedback we can see that this will work and we shall continue with these ideas.

Looking at these when thinking about how we will do our opening for our horror these are the things we need to think about including within our opening titles of our Horror... 

Analysis of Sounds in Similar Genres to ours

Below is what we have decided to create for our Company Production for our horror opening that we are creating.

We decided to create our company logo like this because our opening is going to be based around the idea of the genre of "Paranormal" We wanted to make our logo look supernatural and the idea of spirits and the first idea that came to us was an angel because they are linked in with spirits which are seen as human figures like us. So to do this we needed to show power and fear as they are what we plan to have in our opening. This was because in our opening we have a strange powerful character, who seems unknown towards the audience and by thinking of the angle that will be linked in with our little girl character because she is seen as a innocent character and that is what angels are seen as however looking at the supernatural aspect of it to.

We needed to base the company logo around our opening horror and as a group that was our result to make it look innocence and make it suit with our characters with the righting creating that unknown, mysterious and that is what we decided to go with and including the black font colour it is demonstrating the idea of being dark and the idea of the unknown and this would link in with our opening because it will be like the past coming back, and haunting the little girl which links in with our slogan of "The Past Never Lets Go"

Horror Production Company Logo’s Research

What is it? A Production Company is the involvement in where that fund films and make profits out of them. They are the companies who provide the fund, setting and other pieces needed for the film. However with these, they are able to make people’s work like their own to be like their normal standard of work, so being in a big international company they could change a company’s ideas however when being an Independent company you are able to do whatever you wanted to do in your projects and wouldn't be changed.

Below is some Horror Film Company Production Logo's that I have decided to Research before creating our own as a group:

The First Horror Company Production is: Hammer Film Productions...

As we can see by looking at this we can see that this is a company that mainly cooperates with the idea of Gothic and supernatural Horror and we are looking at the Paranormal Horror for our opening, so this is suitable for our so that's why I decided to look at this one. When looking at this logo we can see that many people would see this as a red colour showing blood and knowing that there is going to be danger and this would be what the audience would want to expect when watching something like this. When looking at this Company we can see that they have created films like the Woman In Black, Dracula and the mummy and different films like that. When looking at this logo we can see that this would appeal out towards the audience because of how it comes out towards you in this bold red colour it is like it is hitting your face it would be seen as a dominant logo which could connote that the Company itself is a dominant and successful institution.

The Second Film Production Company... Universal Studios 

From looking at this production company we can see that this is a Global international company who create a large amount of films. This company is seen to the audience as famous and is very well known, and because of the makes people would know that they make great films and they should be films that don't let the audience down and they show off the skills that they have as a company. Being a international well known company they would have high standard expectations to meet towards there audience. However, when looking at the design of the Company's name we can see that they show the earth which this could demonstrate the idea of them being international around the world and being well know to them. This production company has produced horror films such as Child's Play, Frankenstein, Land of the dead and Dead Silence.  

The third Production Company is... Rogue Pictures

From looking at this production company we can see that their logo and style of writing has the idea of an fading effect. I thought this was suitable for our horror opening and reason was because we are basing pour opening around the idea of Paranormal and this logo had a ghost appearance look to it. As ghost are know as faded, mysterious beings this logo could connote this because of how it has been represented. This would appeal out towards the audience because it shows the idea of being mysterious and could be something to do with the past and this would be effective towards how the production company would like to run. This company has created horror films like: Half to Death, The Strangers and the return.
