Level and Mark: Level 3 – 14

WWW - You have some fantastic posts that cover a brilliant amount of detail. You analyse in a very succinct and yet detailed way with some very sophisticated ideas as well. You have organised your posts well and have very detailed research into the many aspects of your genre and options for your task. Your analysis of colour is superb throughout your blog.

EBI - Try to use a larger range of ICT to present on your blogs, consider the use of audio or video clips of yourself explaining some of the key ideas. Consider as many multiple meanings in regards to the type of clothing that characters wear. What could it show about them and why is it used? Think in more depth about the type of text that is used and the connotations it creates for the reader.

Resulting Actions  (student response): Since this feedback, I have started to use different ICT Software’s Like Prezi and making images on PowerPoint and inserting them into my blog posts. I have explained why certain things have been used within my posts. Many Improvements have been done in future work I shall look over my past ones.

Focus: Representation of a horror character Well done on completing many of the research posts. Remember you will also need to upload your preliminary task including the planning and evaluation of it.

WWW - You have used a variety of ways to present your ideas such as gifs, images and embedded video which shows a proficient level of care in your research.

EBI -  At times the post can be a little repetitive about the character. It could be worthwhile identifying specific aspects of the character to analyse such as costume, hair and makeup, body language and facial expressions. This could then be used to structure your analysis.

Resulting Actions  (student response): The Preliminary Task has been uploaded, with evaluation I looked back at the representation and repetitive sentences will be looked at and changed thinking about the points you have made.
